AMAÇ
Atölye Çalışması öncelikle, hipnoz kullanımıyla çalışmalarını zenginleştirmeyi amaçlayan cinsel terapistler; İkinci olarak, hipnozu zaten klinik bir araç olarak kullanan ve cinsel disfonksiyonlarda uygulanmasına daha spesifik olarak odaklanmak isteyen terapistler  hedeflenmiştir.

AÇIKLAMA
Hipnoz, bilinçli-olmayan zihne ulaşmada kanıtlanmış bir araç ya da tekniktir  ve doğası itibariyle cinsel terapide hayli etkili bir yaklaşımdır. Cinsel terapide klinisyen, eninde sonunda terapötik repertuarın parçası olacak ve sıklıkla hastanın benlik imajını, güvenini, ve saygısını; kişilerarası ilişkilerini; ve hatta işini etkileyen genel psikojenik cinsel işlev bozukluğuna sahip hastalara / Danışanlara yardım etmek için somut bir perspektif ve pratik tekniklere ihtiyaç duyar . ‘’ Cinsel Terapide Yeni Hipnoz ’’ konulu atölye çalışmasında;  yenilerde bahsedilmiş üç teorik elementle birlikte, salt davranışçı, Skinneryan modalite dışında bütün terapötik modalitelere yerleştirilebilecek bir yöntem olmuştur. Bütün terapistler, bu Atölye Çalışmasında öğrenecekleri ilke ve teknikleri uygulamalarına ekleyerek, cinsel işlev bozukluğu tedavilerini daha iyi bir noktaya taşıyabilirler.

İÇERİK
Cinsel terapide hipnoz kullanımı ile ilgili hem genel hem de spesifik teknikleri mercek altına alır. Tekniklerin altında yatan klinik prensipler vurgulanır, böylece tecrübeli klinisyenler, teknikleri esnek bir biçimde kullanabilecekler ve danışanlarının ihtiyacına göre ayarlayabileceklerdir.

Daniel Araoz Arjantin kökenlidir. doktorasını, 1969 da Columbia Üniversitesinde aile terapisi alanında aldı.  Profesör Dr. Araoz, halen Long Island Üniversitesi, C.W.Post kampüsünde Danışma ve Gelişim Bölümü başkanıdır. Dokuz kitabı arasında bazıları dört dile çevrilmiştir, Yeni Hipnoz, Jason Aranson Inc. Tarafından Mastr Work serisinin bir parçası olarak yayınlanmıştır. O, Amerikan Psikoloji Birliği Üyesidir, Amerikan Profesyonel Psikoloji Topluluğunun diplomatıdır ve Amerika Psikolojik Hipnoz Birliğinden uzmanlığa sahiptir. Ericksonian Hipnozun Long Island Enstitüsü eski yöneticisi de olan Dr. Araoz, Evlilik ve Aile Terapisi için Amerikada kabul Edilmiş Süpervizörler arasındadır ve Amerikan Cinsel Eğitimciler, Danışmanlar ve Terapistler Birliğinin Diplomalı Cinsel Terapistidir.
